Puglia is famed for its traditional cooking and most villages and towns boast a good selection of places to eat. Seafood is always a favourite; our personal choice is Mimi's just down the coast at San Gregorio.
Although many restaurants are open all year, some are not, so if you are visiting out of season it is best to check that your choice is open. Some restaurants are only open in the evening. In the height of summer many places will be full so it might be best to book ahead.
If you choose to stay home and cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. You just need to add some of the excellent local ingredients, some local wine and sit and enjoy the sunset from the veranda.
